Description
Hi there, friends! My name is Dana, and I’m a sweet and lovable three-year-old Shepherd mix, weighing about 53 pounds. I’m spayed, in great health and don’t have any special needs – just lots of love to give!
I’m a gentle girl with a big heart and would make a wonderful addition to a family. I’m especially great with kids and love being part of a family’s daily life. One of my favorite things to do is relax in the sunshine – I’ll happily head out to the backyard a few times a day just to soak it all in. Oh, and I love chatting with my toys (especially my squeaky piggie!) and chewing on something when I get a little bored.
When it comes to training, I’ve got the basics down! I’m fully potty-trained and crate-trained. I do pull a bit on the leash, but I’m learning more every day – especially when I get some encouragement and belly rubs. I’m very motivated by attention and love being showered with pets!
I’d be happiest in a home with a loving family – especially if there are kids to play with and snuggle. I get along well with other dogs who have a similar energy and enjoy playing. Cats don’t really bother me, so I could do just fine with them, too.
My energy level is moderate – I’m always up for some fun, but I’m also perfectly content lounging around after a bit of daily exercise. I’m also totally fine being left alone and don’t have any separation anxiety.
All I’m looking for is a forever home where I can be loved and give lots of love in return. Could that be with you? If so, my adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
