Description

Tiny, Tender, and Twice the Love (with my sister Lisy!)

Hi there! My name is Isabela, and I’m a 1.5-year-old, 7-pound tiny terrier with a soft heart and an even softer spot for cuddles. My sister Lisy and I were found together in a kennel outside of TAP HQ, and since then we’ve been sticking close—literally! We’re a bonded pair who sleep side by side, play together, and help each other feel safe in this big new world. I’m still a little shy, but every day I grow more confident and curious about life.

I’m a gentle, sweet girl with low-to-medium energy. My favorite things are cuddling up with my humans, playing with toys, and exploring the world with my sister by my side. I’ve recently started enjoying walks and sniffing around outside, though I’m still learning this whole leash thing. Stroller rides are one of my specialties! I ride like a perfect little lady and behave beautifully in public places like coffee shops. Loud noises or sudden movements can still make me a bit nervous, but I warm up quickly.

At home, I’m very affectionate and love to ask for pets and snuggles. I’m also super food motivated, which should make training nice and smooth! I sleep in my crate at night with my sister right next to me, and during the day we relax together in our playpen when our humans are out. Potty training is going well—I go outside in the morning and evening and use a grass patch on the balcony during the day. I may whimper for a few minutes when my humans leave, but having my sister nearby helps me feel safe.

I’m friendly with other dogs and have shown interest in meeting them on walks, and I’ve even heard that I did well around a cat during a sleepover with another volunteer. I haven’t met kids yet, but I’m very sweet with people once I feel comfortable. Like many little pups, I’m still learning not to chew —whoops!—but I’m happy to redirect to toys.

Why should you adopt me? Because I’m a tiny bundle of sweetness who just wants to love and be loved. I’m learning that the world isn’t so scary after all, and with the right family, I’ll continue blossoming into the most loyal, cuddly companion. The most important thing is that my sister Lisy and I stay together—we’re each other’s comfort and best friend.

Our ideal forever home will be one filled with patience and lots of affection. We don’t need tons of exercise, but we do need plenty of love, cozy cuddle time, and humans who understand that we’re still gaining confidence. We hope you’re ready for double the sweetness and double the snuggles!

The adoption fee is $500 for me and my sister Lisy together as a bonded pair and includes our spay, vaccinations, and microchips.
