Camp Tappy Tails
Have your kiddos spend their summer with dogs! 🐾
Camp Tappy Tails is structured around educating children on dog safety and the importance of dog rescue. By participating in the camp the children learn how to safely interact with the dogs (dog body language, dog safety, what to do if you see an unleashed dog, when to pet a dog and when not to), basic dog care, and why we rescue. Activities include daily lessons, crafts, dog baths, reading to dogs and spending lots of quality time with the resident dogs at TAP’s HQ in La Mesa!
Camps are for children entering grades 1-6 in the fall and will be held at The Animal Pad’s HQ from 10am-2pm Monday-Friday. Campers will be split into two groups – Group 1 will be for those going into grades 1-3, and group 2 will be for those going into grades 4-6 in the fall. Each group will have 11 campers per week.
Campers will bring their own snacks/lunch. Spots are limited, so each camper can only sign up for 1 week. Sign up HERE before all spots are taken!

Camp is $375 per week and includes a shirt, water bottle, 2 books about rescue dogs, and an activity guide.
