June Volunteer Trip to Ellos Son La Razon
June 15 @ 8:00 am - 8:00 pm$40
We are thrilled to announce our 4th Volunteer Trip to ESLR!
Ellos Son La Razon is a no-kill shelter in Ensenada – the only of its kind – and gets little to no rescue help, apart from TAP. Visiting and volunteering here is heartbreaking, beautiful, and absolutely life-changing; it is something that we want as many people to experience as possible. With a total of over 250 dogs (and counting, because they will never turn a single dog away) and a “staff” that you could count on one hand, the shelter is in desperate need of help, always. We are taking our next group trip to Ellos Son La Razon, and want you to be a part of this! Yes, it’s sad- we won’t sugarcoat it – but you will not regret making the trip. While we search for foster and adoptive homes for every last dog in the shelter, we can make a short-term difference, by giving these dogs a really great day.
If you are interested in joining us, please RSVP here and register today. Space is limited to 40 attendees.
We will feed, walk and socialize all 250+ dogs in the shelter which will surely make a BIG difference to these pups.
We are doing things a little different this time around and we are very excited!
8:00am- We will meet at the San Ysidro Pedestrian bridge and walk across the Border together.
8:30am- Our chartered bus will pick us up on the TJ side of the Border and take us to ESLR.
10:00am-1:00pm- Arrive at ESLR, feed, walk, socialize and play with all 250+pups!
1:30pm- Arrive at Planta Baja, an amazing seaside restaurant, to enjoy a Mexican buffet.
3:30pm (ish)- Depart for the Border where we will be dropped off and walk back across.
*The trip registration fee covers transportation in Mexico and the lunch. Please note that we have a very limited number of spots available for this trip and once we sell out, there will be no more tickets available.
*We will be sending food to ESLR before our trip and any extra donation will go towards the Food Fund
*You MUST sign a waiver/release in order to attend the trip. This will be sent to you via a program called Docusign after registration.
*Wear clothes that you are okay getting dirty in!
