Whitney, with her diva ears!

Whitney may fool ya into believing that she is a bat with her fancy ears, but she is actually a cute Terrier-Schnauzer mix, all scruffy and fluffy. She is about 2 years old, female and weighs around 20 lbs. She has caught up wonderfully on house training, but needs occasional help with the leash to not pull. She is finishing up some medications to cure her shelter life days and she will be happy and healthy in no time!

This timid girl shows some initial shyness, but loves people! She is more of a single person dog and will be a wonderful companion. She prefers to hang out with women more than men, and needs adults in her home and prefers them over kids. She loves treats and enjoys being brushed and cajoled. She has a very loving side to her but will actually give space when needed. She is kind of a cat like dog, per her foster mom! She looks forward o her walks and explorations. She is friendly and gets along well with other dogs.

Whitney will be a very sweet and loving companion to any person. She will prefer to be with women and in a home ideally without kids. A quiet, chill home will be better suited for her. This pet’s adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots and microchip.
