Vodka: Pending Adoptions
Little miss Vodka will have you in high spirits!
Anyone care for a martini? Moscow mule? How about just the Vodka? That’s me! My name is Vodka and a lovable little lady. I promise to deliver all warm-fuzzies without the hangover. I’m a 2-year old, 18-pound terrier mix. I’m not spayed yet, but it’s already on the calendar! Otherwise, I’m as healthy as Vodka can be. I was recently rescued from Tijuana with the rest of my cocktail crew. My time with The Animal Pad and my foster fam set the BAR pretty high, but I have even higher hopes for my furever home!
I know you wouldn’t normally want to offer vodka to your kids, but I’m the exception to that rule! I’m great with the little ones and currently live with two. I’m playful and could fetch all day! Initially, I was super friendly with other doggos. However, I’ve recently become a bit protective of my new pack. I just want to make sure my little hoomans are safe! Since this is a new habit, I think that with a new home and training, I could learn to be polite with other pooches again. I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, so I’m not sure what I think about them. When I’m not chasing tennis balls in the yard, I’m a superb snuggler! I’m very lovable and would gladly lay in your lap all day long.
Even though vodka might not lead to the best behavior in da hoomans, I’m a well-behaved gal! I’m house and bathroom trained. No late-night accidents for me! As I mentioned, I used to be good on walks, but my leash training recently went downhill when I developed the need to protect my people. With some patience and more training, I’d love to break this habit! Vodka goes with anything, but some mixers of new noises, new dogs or people, may need extra stirring. A good dose of training and positive reinforcement is what will do me good.
Your vodka may be 80-proof, but I’m 100% lovable! I’m a playful, cuddly girl who would be an amazing family dog. In light of my recent habits, someone patient, who can re-train and socialize me, would be awesome! A bit of help with new sounds, doggies, and people, whole lot of positive reinforcement and training will go a long way! If you give me a chance, I promise to intoxicate you with my puppy dog eyes and personality. Let’s meet for a drink to see if I’m the pooch for you! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adopt-today
