Regina George: Pending Adoption
There’s a new queen bee in town… meet Regina!
Oh, hi there! My name is Regina George, but I’m sure you already knew that. Just as my namesake is the most popular girl in school, I’m the most pupular pooch! I’m a total social butterfly. All the people and pups love me, but can you blame them? I’m a 10-pound, 3-4 month old, female terrier mix… aka, I’m pretty much perfection! My appointment to be spayed is on the calendar (right after my mani-pedi, of course) but otherwise, I’m completely healthy. When I was found in Mexico, The Animal Pad knew that an adorable, irresistible gal like me should be in a wonderful home! They swooped me up and I’ve been living my best life ever since!
I know my namesake is a bit of a Mean Girl, but I have to admit that I’m actually the opposite. I can come off as a bit shy or standoffish at first, but once I warm up, I’m incredibly friendly! I like all people, kids included. I love playing with dogs of all sizes and ages. The more pooches I can convince to vote for me for Spring Fling Queen the better! I haven’t met any kitties yet, but as long as they don’t act too catty, it shouldn’t be an issue. When I can’t socialize, I’ll gladly play with my toys or curl up for a nap. Once I learn to trust people, I’ll gladly cuddle into bed with you if you’ll let me! I’m great at sleeping through the night—my beauty rest is essential.
I’m a bit of a diva when it comes to training. If I have access to the outdoors, I’m great about letting myself out to do my business. However, the collar and leash are still scary to me. You can’t tie this princess down! I’m still a puppy, so I’m sure with more practice and patience I’ll learn to be the best-behaved gal.
My ideal furever family is one with lots of love and belly rubs! I’d be a wonderful family dog since I’m such a socialite. A home with a patio or yard would be amazing so that I can let myself in and out while simultaneously maintaining my summer tan. Jokes aside, I would love to join a pack with another pooch so that I can play with them! If that’s not the case, maybe some friendly neighbor dogs that can come over for playdates? If I sound like the good girl for you, let’s meet! I pawmise— you’ll quickly become obsessed with me! My adoption fee is $450 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adopt-today
