Bernard Sanfurs aka Bernie

Are you feeling the bern yet?!

If not, come say hey to me! I am Bernard Sanfurs, lovingly known as Bernie. I am a male, Labrador-Cocker Spaniel mix which makes my coat look like vanilla ice cream with a sprinkle of caramel chips. I am a healthy boy who weighs 40 lbs and healthy with love and care at my foster home! I was brought over to The Animal Pad family from the Ensenada sister shelter to find a family of my own. I am learning to be a good doggo and catching up on my bathroom and leash training. I am quite good in a crate and can spend time alone at home. I have not been fixed yet, but it’s gonna happen soon!

I truly believe that I was born to bring about a revolution… of love! I am just a happy, easy-going guy and I just adore everyone I meet. I like people and also kiddos and I like to show them how much I love them. I like to be friends and play with other dogs too! I don’t quite understand kitties, so we don’t fit well. I spent a along time cooped up in the shelter, and I need training and patience with being a good boy at home. My foster mom says I am learning very quickly! She also says that I am ‘treat-motivated’. What can I say, except, I love it when I make people happy!

I simply want love and attention from people who I can call my forever family. I can be pretty chill when you are at work, and I can be in a crate, all ready to cuddle when you are home! I do like lazyin’ in the sun, so a yard would be nice. I’d be quite happy either by myself or with a doggie buddy. My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adopt-today
