Adoptable: Tosca

One smart and cuddly cookie!

Hi, pals!  My name is Tosca, and I’m a 2.5-year-old, 23-pound Puggle female.  I’ve come all the way from Los Adoptables in Ensenada, and I can’t wait to find my furever home!  I’m in great health, and I’ve already been spayed.  I’m potty-trained, too, and though I might pull a bit on a leash, I quickly stop with command.

I’m a sweet girl, who loves cuddling and sitting in your lap.  I’m super smart, too, and am easily trainable and willing to learn.  I have medium-high energy, and though I could probably play fetch all day long, I also know when it’s time to relax and chill on my own.  My favorite activities include playing fetch/soccer and, most importantly, being around humans!  I love my people, and I love saying “hi” to new human friends I meet, as well.  I’m not much of a barker, and I may whine for a few minutes when left alone, but otherwise, I settle down easily.

As far as other doggies are concerned, I can be playful around them, but when I’ve had enough play time, I also know how to respectably let other pups know that I need my space.  Kitties would probably be fine with a slow introduction since I don’t have much of a prey drive.  Kids are a huge yes since I thrive around that kind of energy!

I think I’d do best in a home that has a mix of active and mellow lifestyle, with a family with or without kids.  After all, I can be adventurous and go on hikes, but I can also simply hang out by your side watching TV.  Having a doggie sibling – preferably one who is patient – would be fine, but I’d also do great completely on my own.
