Take Tacoma off the lot!

Hey there! My name is Tacoma and I’m the sweetest, most playful girl on the road. I’m a 12-week, 14-pound (adorable), Shepherd mix. I’m not spayed yet since I’m still just a pup, but I’ll be sure to make a pit-stop soon! My momma (Toyota) was recently rescued by The Animal Pad’s partner shelter in Ensenada. Lucky for me, I was born safe and sound at the dealership… ahem, I mean with my foster in the states. Now all I need to do is find my furever family!

I may come off shy at first, but give me a minute and my perky puppy energy shines! I’m a high-energy gal who is a friend to all. I love ruff housing with my furry foster siblings and I even get along with the cat (who I mostly ignore). I’m also the tug-o-war queen and will never turn down a game of chase. I adore hoomans, kids included! Once I’ve gotten my zoomies out, I like getting pets and cuddles from my people and giving kisses in return. I’m a total sweetheart.

Even though I’m still a puppy, I’m quickly learning how to be a good girl. When I have access outside, I’ll do my business there. I know how to use potty pads inside too. I’m still learning the difference between toys and all the other cool things in the house. I’m just a pup, can you blame me? I don’t love being in my crate and get a little sad when you leave. I’ll pretty quickly realize that it’s nap time and turn my engine off. I also sleep through the night—gotta get that beauty rest! I don’t love loud noises and can get a bit spooked sometimes. I’d love to keep building my confidence and continue training with you!

My ideal furever family is one that’s as active as I am. I adore the outdoors and would make a great hiking or running buddy. I’d be just fine in a home with kids, cats, or other pooches! As long as I have someone to play with who will give me lots of love, I’m a happy little trucker. So what do you say? All roads point to Tacoma! My adoption fee is $500 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
