A love bug at heart!

Hi, rockstars! My name is Sir Mic Jagger, and I’m a 1-year-old, 49-pound Labrador Retriever mix male.   I was rescued from Ellos Son La Razon in Mexico, where I had spent my whole life stuck in a crate.  Needless to say, I cannot wait to put that experience behind me and live life to the fullest with my furever family!

I’m potty-trained, leash-trained, and house-broken, and I’ve already been neutered.  For obvious reasons, crates and I do not mix.  Please do not ever put me in one again!  They make me feel very anxious and panicked.  My health is in good shape, but for now I am focused on building the muscle tone in my back legs, gaining weight, and enjoying freedom and the ability to play outside.

My foster mama says that I’m an all-around good-natured boy, who has a low-to-medium energy level.  I’m sweet and gentle, and my favorite activities include being around people and other doggie friends, getting pets and belly rubs, going on walks, and lounging around.

I think I’d do best in a household where there are multiple people in the home (including kiddos). Kitties are an unknown, but I’d love a doggie sibling to play with.  Other than that, I have a lot of love to give, so the more people and animals, the better!

Do we sound like we’d make beautiful music together? My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
