Like a bouquet of roses!
Why hello there, hooman! My name is Rosie. I am a 4-year-old, female, Lab Mix weighing around 32 lbs. I am here because The Animal Pad rescued me from the streets of Rosarito, MX as a stray. I have clearly had quite a few liters. I got an injured jaw at some point and that is the main reason I was rushed to TAP. MY jaw ended up not being broken, but I have some teeth that were preventing me from being able to close my jaw for a long time – hence my deformed head from muscle atrophy. On the bright side, I am in the process of healing and in time those head/jaw muscles will come back a little more! As I am reintroduced to all hard kibble and taken off of wet food completely and get to chew my toys, my jaw will get the exercise needed. I am house/bathroom/leash trained! I have a scheduled spaying appointment.
I am the sweetest thing that loves all the cuddles you can give and then some. I am extremely needy when it comes to getting attention and will force myself on to your lap if I can. I am great on leash and easily corrected. Very food motivated! I am still learning basic commands, as it’s hard to give me treats with my jaw. My energy is low/medium. I’m happy just sleeping the day away but always ready to go for an adventure and be able to keep up. I have separation anxiety if I am not crated when you leave, but if I am crated I am perfectly fine. I am doggo friendly; however, I am selective on who I like. I do not like cats. I am little hooman friendly. SUP PUP Certified! I love long walkies, car rides, sun bathing, cuddling, and anything I can do with my hooman. My foster says, “She is the sweetest dog ever and deserves to find her forever home. Whoever adopts Rosie is getting an incredibly loving companion. She aims to please and just wants to be with her human.”
My perfect furever home would be one where I can be the main attraction, as I truly just wants all the pets/love. I could be a perfect doggo for a family with or without little hoomans. I’m not super active but would do well with a family that enjoys walkies/hikes. My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
