Looking for endless snuggles!

Hi, pals!  My name is Ripley, and believe it or not, I’m a 3.5-year-old neutered Shepherd mix, weighing in at 50 pounds.  I’m the absolute sweetest boy, and I’ve come all the way from Tijuana to find my furever home! I was relinquished shortly after my adoption and was not a good fit in their home.

I’m a true “Velcro” doggie, and there is nothing more in the world that I want than to be loved and receive attention from my people.  I’m happy chilling and cuddling all day long with you, but I also enjoy going out for walks and playing fetch.  I get along with other doggies just fine and really enjoy running around off-leash at dog parks.  As you can see, I’m a tripod, but that hasn’t held me down one bit!

I am crate-trained and house-trained (no destructive tendencies here!), and I have no separation anxiety to speak of.  One thing that I am working on right now, though, is my pulling while on a leash.  However, I’m making great progress, and with my eagerness to learn and receive training, I’m sure I’ll master it in no time. I will need some help with anxiety management and understanding that I can relax at home and around my people.

My ideal household would probably be in a home without kids.  While I am very tolerant of kiddos, I really crave the attention and company of adults.  Other than that, all I need is love and attention!

Do we sound like a great match?  If so, let’s schedule a meet up! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
