Hi, there! My name is Petrie. I’m a loyal, loving girl who is the ultimate companion. I’m a shepherd mix at just under 2-years-old and 45-pounds. I’m already spayed and as healthy as can be. I came into The Animal Pad’s care when my previous owner sadly passed. Although I’m heartbroken, I can’t wait to find a furever family where I can feel at home again. I hope it’s with you!

I’m a super sweet girl who adores other pooches and people. I’m a bit shy, but once I warm up I love to play. I’m a big fan of tug-o-war, toys, and running around with my puppy pals. I can be around respectful older kids and teens and not young ones. I know I’m not a huge fan of cats– I’m loyal to team dog! Once the fun is done, there’s no place I’d rather be than right by your side– I’m a total lovebug.

I’m a well-trained girl who never has accidents inside. I’m crate trained if needed, but I’m also trustworthy in the house! I am doggy door trained too. I get a little sad when you leave, but settle down shortly. I enjoy walks and do well on the leash, but could benefit from a bit more training. I am a great adventure buddy too, and a love to go in the car. As I mentioned, I can be shy around some men, so I’d love to keep building my confidence with you!

My ideal furever home is one with a furry brother or sister who can be my companion and playmate. I pawmise to give you lots of love and attention, too! I’m incredibly sweet, have good energy, and would love a second chance. Will that second chance be with you? I’ll keep my paws crossed!
