Hi, guys! My name is North, and I’m a 2-year-old female Labrador Retriever mix, weighing 45 pounds. I’m as healthy as a horse, and I’ve already been spayed, too. I’m still learning how to walk on this thing you all call a leash, but I tolerate it well with little tugging on my part. Potty-training is a work in progress, as I’m still getting the hang of letting others know when I need to go.
I’m a super sweet and calm girl, though I am very alert and always know what’s going on around me. I’m pretty timid in nature, so I really like to be around other doggies to help build my confidence. I enjoy laying in my crate and collecting all the dog toys I can find. I’m an independent gal, with no separation anxiety to speak of. Sometimes, though, I need some treats to leave my safe spot and explore some, but having some furry siblings around (both cats and dogs) really help give me that security I need. I also like to be out and about, and my tail wags on walks around the neighborhood!
I’m looking for a loving and patient home to help me come out of my shell. Once out of my shell, though, I promise I will melt your heart with licks and tail wags. Children are a maybe, but doggie siblings are an absolute must for me. So, if I sound like your gal, you know which direction to go!
