Your paw-fect companion!

Hi, friends! My name is Maradona, and I’m a 2-year-old, 54-pound Terrier Mix female.  I’ve come all the way from Tijuana to find my furever home!

I’ve already been spayed, and my health is in tip-top shape.  I’ve mastered potty-training (as long as I get plenty of times to go outside and do my business), I’m great on a leash, and I don’t have any destructive behaviors in or outside the home.  As far as separation anxiety goes, though, I’m happy to stay in my crate at bedtime, but I do have anxiety when left home alone inside my crate.

To sum it all up: I’m pretty much the perfect girl.  I’m calm and sweet, and oh so gentle!  I have a mild temperament and am super friendly to both humans and other doggies.  My favorite activities are sunbathing, relaxing on the couch, and going for walks.  I can be playful, too, especially when it comes to toys, puzzles and getting treats for doing tricks.

I think I’d do well in any type of home.  While I’m not a particularly active kind of gal, I’m playful enough to fit right in as the single dog in the home or be one of the pack!  How I am around kitties is unknown, but I think I’d do just fine around children or seniors since I’m so gentle.  The one thing I’d prefer, though, is that I’m not left alone too much during the day.  After all, I’d much rather be lying at your feet or by your side running errands.

Do we sound like a good fit?  If so, my adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
