You’ll get a kick out of Lucille!

Hi there! My name is Lucille. I’m a 3-year-old, 45-pound, boxer mix. I was named after Karate Kid’s mom and I’m a sweet momma too! I was recently rescued from Ensenada with a belly full of babies. Luckily, they were born safe and sound in the states. Now that they’ve all grown up, I’m ready to find a Dojo… I mean, home of my own!

I’m a super friendly gal who gets along with everyone I meet. I adore ruff housing with my furry foster sibling and I respectively give the senior pooch his space. I usually ignore the cat other than the occasional bark. I can be a tad timid when I meet new hoomans, but I warm up quickly! I love kids and never pass up a chance to snuggle with the ones in my foster home. I like to run around the yard and play with my toys. Once the fun is done I’ll gladly settle down for a nap or some pets!

In terms of training, I might as well be a black belt! I learned how to use the doggy door and do my business outside. I sleep through the night in the crate and can hang out there if you need to run some errands. While you’re home, I’ll gladly cuddle up at your feet! Since I recently had puppies, I haven’t had much experience on the leash. I still need to get some shots and will be sure to get all “fixed” up (literally) as soon as the vet says I’m good to go!

I would do well in a furever home with another playful pup who can be my buddy. I think I’d also be happy flying solo as long as I get lots of affection and exercise from my hoomans. I’d love to be a family dog or be your fur child! If you’re looking for an energetic, loyal, loving girl, I’m the knock-out for you! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
