Best in Class for cuddling!

Hello! My name is Liza, and I’m a 1.8 years old spayed Lab mix, weighing in at 32 pounds.  I’ve come all the way from the Ensenada Pound to find my furever family, and now I’m having a great time being in the spotlight at my foster home.

First off, I’m a proud Distemper survivor. I’m a true fighter and have been feeling great, health-wise, ever since.  I’ve mastered potty-training, but my crate and leash manners are still a work in progress.  Don’t worry, though; I’m a hard-working gal and I know I’ll get them under my belt in no time!

As far as my personality goes, I’m a sweet girl who loves to cuddle and give my humans all the love I have to give.  I even wrap my little arms around you to get as close to you as I can!  I’m a low-energy pup (though I do enjoy a good ball-playing session) and enjoy hanging around with you, whether that be while you work in the office or watch a movie on the couch.  One thing that I’m working on is being left alone.  I have pretty severe separation anxiety, so I’d love to have someone help me work through my issues in this area.  I can also be skittish in new surroundings but am able to warm up with time and patience.

I’d love for my furever home to be one that has kiddos around.  A low-energy doggie sibling would be great, too.  Other than that, I’d prefer to have frequent company since I struggle with being left alone for too long.

Do we sound like we’re in tune with each other?  My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
