Hi guys! I am Lily, a female 7 year old Shepherd mix, weighing in at about 48 lbs. I was rescued from TJ and really needed a warm, safe home. That’s when TAP and my foster family stepped in and I have been so happy since then! I am fully housetrained without a single accident so far, and good at walking on the leash. I can hang out at home by myself too without causing any issues, outside my crate. I am spayed.
Foster mama can vouch for the fact that I am a total sweetheart! I have had a lot of life ups and downs and it took me a while to settle. But once I did, my anxiety reduced and I turned into the sweetest gal! I have settled super well and even claimed the couch as mine! I make a great brewery date too. I enjoy chews and kongs to pass time and I am food-motivated enough to be trained nicely. It’s a sight to behold when I am happy or excited, with my tippy tappy dance! Ear scratches, belly rubs, me army crawling into your lap are all amazing things. I like dogs, but prefer calmer, mellow ones.
Mama says whoever adopts me would have truly won the jackpot! I would thrive in a mellow home with companionship, where people are present most of the time. I would love an easy sniffy walk and lots of cuddly attention. I would love some yummy food and snacks, walks around the neighborhood, lots of pets and belly rubs, maybe a few extra treats for good measure, and someone who will tell me that I am the goodest girl there ever was.
