Hey guys! My name is Leonardo and please do make room on the plank, errr, couch, for me. This Leonardo will definitely fit! I am a 1.5 years old, male neutered Shepherd mix and weigh about 44 lbs. I had an ‘owner’ if you could call him that. He had placed a C-clamp around my peepee/male genitalia, to punish me from jumping at people, and took me to the vet when my areas got infected. The vet decided that I could not go back to the jerk and TAP rescued me. I have been at the most loving foster home since then and learning all good manners! I chew up a shoe occasionally, but overall very good with bathroom training. My foster mama allows me plenty of sniffing on my walks and hikes, which is very good for my mental stimulation!
I make a pawfect hiking and running buddy! I am a masterpiece just like the actor and the painter themselves! I can play many roles, from an exercise buddy to a cuddly belly rub seeker to a protector from stranger people in the yard! I am quite smart and need mental stimulation to prevent boredom and naughtiness. I play with my foster doggie sibling, but he prefers his afternoon snoozes haha!
I would love a somewhat active home where I get regular exercise. I have been good with the kids who I have met on walks, and friendly with dogs. Hiking with family would be so great!
