The babe of the town!
Hey guys! I am Faye, a 3 year old, 42 lbs, female Lab-Terrier mix and I am here to steal hearts. I was rescued from the Mexican streets, running about with 2 other dogs, and crossed the border on Christmas. I have been at my foster home, which to us was a Christmas miracle. I was a shy and quiet lady, with issues like Lepto and kidney problems, and many vet visits, medications, lots of TLC, renal food, later, I am much more comfortable! From hiding in the bedroom for a whole week, to a silly-confident girl, I have come such a long way. Because of my chronic kidney issues, I am on a prescription low-protein diet. I am fully bathroom and leash trained and such a good gal! I have been spayed.
I am loving velcro-dog who simply loves her people and cuddling with them! But I am not super clingy and dont have separation anxiety as of now. I am a friendly girl with polite, well-mannered dogs. I hide behind my mama if I see an over exuberant pup. I adore cats and my neighbor cat comes on walks with me! You wanna talk about kids? I love them! If I see them outside playing, I want to join right away! I rarely bark and am quite calm, with a dorky side that makes me even more cuter. I am learning more about toys, the joys of chasing balls, going out in the car, and going on long walks. At my 40 lbs, I am a good huggable size, but not too big to not fit on a lap!
Everyone goes on saying that I am the sweetest dog, and mama says they all are right! I would be great with any kind of family who will love me to bits! I am okay with people gone but would be happier with an active family and companionship of kids and more people. Now that I am healthier, physical activities and mental stimulation will do me real good. IF you think we can be euphoric together, we must meet up! My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
