Elizabeth will be the queen of your heart!
‘Ello darling! My name is Elizabeth after the famous British philosopher, but you can call me Lizzy. I’m a totally trained sweetheart who loves her humans unconditionally. I’m a 2-year-old, 28-pound, Dachshund mix. I’m not spayed yet, but I have that and an eye exam on my to-do list! I was recently rescued from England… ahem, I mean, Ensenada before I cozied on up with my foster fam. Other than some tea and crumpets, the only thing to make me happier is a home with you!
I’m a loyal lady who is completely in love her with people. I get along with all humans, kiddos included. I wag my tail when I see other dogs on walks and I am dog-friendly! I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure about them.
I love playing chase, tug-o-war, and chewing on tough squeaky toys (the soft ones don’t last long). I also enjoy going on walks, hikes, and cuddling up for an episode of The Crown or The Great British Bake Off. I live for your attention and will give you a nudge or paw if I want more pets. I’m also a great listener and if you’re over giving me snuggles, just clap once and I’ll happily lay down next to you. I’m also a big fan of my food puzzle and of course, treats!
I’m totally trained and have never had an accident in the house. I do well on the leash and don’t have any separation anxiety. I can be alone for about 3-5 hours and will take a nap on the couch, but I’m definitely happiest when you’re around!
I would be the pawfect addition to any household looking for a loyal, loving girl who will greet any new adventure with a wagging tail. I don’t need a ton of exercise, but a few active walks and the food puzzle will help keep me preoccupied. So what do you say? My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
