Hi, there! My name is Charlotte and I’m a goofy good girl who will quickly steal your heart. I’m a 1-year-old, 34-pound, spayed Shepherd mix. I was recently rescued from the incredibly ruff conditions at ESLR in Ensenada. I was found in an over-packed kennel, dogs fighting for food, and me fighting for my life. Despite what I’ve been through, I’m sweet as can be and so thankful for this fresh start!
I’m a very good girl who is friendly with other pooches. I play well with other dogs and can also keep myself preoccupied with a toy or a chewie. I have successfully been introduced to and live with a cat. I am quite curious and want to play with them, but as soon as they tell me to back off, I will go away and find my people or fur-siblings to play with, I love getting out to explore, whether it’s on a hike or by your feet at a brewery. Although I enjoy being active, I’m medium-energy and definitely enjoy my beauty rest. Give me a comfy surface and I’ll be catching Zzz’s in no time!
Not to brag, but I’m a pretty smart girlie. I mastered bathroom training on day one. I’m a pro in the crate and I don’t have any separation anxiety. I do well on the leash and adapt quickly to new environments. I’m polite, a good listener, and I know how to read a room. If it’s playtime, I can amp up the energy, but if everyone’s relaxing, I’m happy just laying by your side. I’m inquisitive and would love to continue learning more in a home with you!
Since I’m impossibly sweet and a fast learner, I’d do well in almost any loving home. I would enjoy being with other pups but as long as I get out for some socialization and playtime, I’d be fine either way. I would thrive in a home where I can get daily exercise and be part of the pack. After everything I’ve been through, I’m still such an angel who just loves to love. I hope I can find heaven on Earth in a furever home with you!
