Brock, “Onix” way to steal yo heart
Gotta catch em’ all! I mean.. hey name is Brock. I am a 5-month-old, male, rock-type.. I mean Greyhound mix weighing around 18 lbs. I am here because The Animal Pad rescued me from a shelter in Ixtapa, Mexico. I am almost completely house and leash trained, and will be neutered soon!
I am your typical sweet/playful pupper! However, I also enjoy my quiet and snuggle time. I do get my little puppy spurts of energy, but overall I have a good temperament. I can get a little scared sometimes of loud noises or pokemon/hoomans with a large stature, but I will feel comfortable within a few minutes. My foster pokemon trainer would say I am a velcro doggo, because I always want to be by your side (like Pikachu), but they have been working on that a bit with me. I can say I am gaining more confidence each day! I am also eager to please (cue treats). Oh did I mention I am a great cuddle companion and walking/exploring companion. I can literally make your dream come true and be the Pikachu you always wanted as a kid! Let’s move on to a few things I love. I love going for walkies, and doing zoomies in the grass. I have tons of toys and I like to play with ALL of them. I LOVE food time and treats. Since I am very food motivated this will be good for my continued training in the future. Last but not least, I love sleeping on my back and getting belly rubs. Just in case you were wondering, I am dog-friendly! I always want to engage other doggos on our walkies. Sadly, I haven’t been able to play at the park because I still need some shots. I have met and played with several of my foster’s friends’ older doggo and have behaved well (like a pupper). I am also little hooman friendly. I am still in the nibble/bit/jump puppy phase though. I just want a pokemon trainer that I can have adventures with and be loyal to, is that too much to ask?
A home that has a family to give me the training and patience I need to be the best pokemon doggo I can be would be amazing! I am still teething and like to nip, but you just have to train me out of that habit. I would like a yard, but if not, that’s okay as long as there are long walkies and/or park trips! My adoption fee is $500 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
