The God of good-bois!

Why hello there, hooman! My name is Apollo. I am a 4-year-old, neutered male, Shepherd Mix weighing around 90 lbs. I am here because The Animal Pad wants to help find me a good home. I was adopted from the FUR Baby Animal Rescue in Los Angeles as a young puppy. I’ve had training for the past few years on basic commands. Although I’ve shown what I am capable of, my owners were unable to keep up with my training and did not give me the attention I need. Since my owners now have a toddler and a newborn in the house, they felt I would thrive in a different setting. I can be naive yet smart. With an owner who can devote time to me, I am good for success! I am house/bathroom/leash trained!

I am a big sweetheart who can be a little stubborn. I love attention, but I can become a bit anxious at times when that attention is not given. I have a lot of energy but can be lazy at times. I currently have an older sister who is 16 pounds, and we get along well together. If properly introduced, I could get along with another doggo in the household. When it comes to little hoomans I would be best in a household without them. Older children may be okay. I love chewing toys, playing fetch even though I’m not the best at bringing toys back. I love eating, walking and cuddling up with my hoomans.

My perfect furever home would be one with attention and love! I would be great in a home with a more active hooman who has experience with doggos already. While I love attention, I am able to be self-sufficient, especially when I am exercised and mentally tired. I do well with another doggo in the household, but I would likely need to be eased into the relationship. A home without little hoomans is highly recommended. My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
