The Pawfect Kitty!

Hello! My name is Angus. I’m a fluffy bundle of love who can’t wait to settle into a furever home. I’m a 12-year-old, 18-pound Domestic Longhair. Sadly, I found myself at The Animal Pad because my loving owner recently passed away. I’m neutered and I’m a healthy boy. I still have a long life ahead of me and I’m hopeful I’ll find the pawfect purrr-son to spend it with!

I’m a sweet gentle giant. I’m a bit shy and skittish at first, but once I get more comfortable, I’ll always approach you always with my tail in a happy hook. My wistful gazes will melt your heart! I’m friendly with other cats and think I’d enjoy a furry sibling in my future. I haven’t met any dogs or kids, but I think I’d get along as long as they were mellow like me! My favorite spots are the foot of the bed and sprawled on the floor. I like to take quiet time during the day in a tucked-away corner and I’m social in the evening. I enjoy, pets, belly rubs, and sleeping next to you!

I’m litter-box trained and I’m very easy to live with. I hardly ever have my claws out and I don’t have any separation anxiety (the perks of being a cat!). I need to be on a diet for weight management until I reach my goal weight, and I have already started to trim donw. I’d love to be adopted by someone who will encourage playtime and activity with my favorite toy… the infamous laser pointer!

Since I’m such a sweet boy, I’d do well in almost any loving home. I think I’d be happy with another friendly cat to be my buddy, but as long as I get some pets and playtime with you, I’ll be on Cloud 9! I’m not kitten when I say I’m a pawfect cat! So what are you waiting for? Adopt me right meow!
