‘Ello lads & lassies! My name is Alfredo, but you can call me Freddy. I’m a West Highland Terrier from Scotland, which means I’m a proper, playful pooch! At just 1-year-old, and 9-pounds, I’m in tip-top health. I’m already neutered as well. I recently came into The Animal Pad’s care from the San Diego Humane Society. Even though I’m an international man… or mutt… I can’t wait to settle down in my furever home!

I’m a friendly fella who gets along with hoomans & hounds. I live for the dog park and adore sprinting around in secure off-leash spaces. I like meeting new pups and playing chase with the ball too! I can be a bit mouthy when I play, but a bit of training should fix that. I like every person I meet, kids included. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure what I think about them. Once I’ve gotten my energy out, I’ll gladly settle down for a spot of tea, some cuddles, and a well-earned nap.

I’m a well-mannered mutt who is totally trained! I never have accidents in the house (rude) and I do well on the leash. Even though I’m a little lad, I can keep up on a brisk 3-mile walk! I don’t love being alone, but settle down and will be just fine in my crate. I also sleep through the night so that we can both get our beauty rest! I can also be your personal bodyguard as I tend to bark at unknown noises—no installation necessary.

I’m a sweet little Scot that would fit well in any household! I would make a lovely companion for a single person or as an addition to a growing family.
